America’s COVID-19 cases cross 27.9 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 27,992,882 in the United States of America after 95,294 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 9,579,845 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 17,926,467 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 486,570 with 2,716 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,376,629 and infected 108,259,969 globally until the filing of this news.
