Mandekaji Shrestha announced Best Male Player of the year



KATHMANDU: Karate player Mandekaji Shrestha has been declared the Best Male Player of the year.

Shrestha won the award at the NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards, 2076 organized by the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum on Tuesday.

Shrestha had won two gold medals at the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) held in Nepal.

At the event held at the Karate Hall of the International Sports Complex at Saatdobato, Shrestha won the award beating Bikesh Kuthu of football, Gopichand Karki of athletics, Kamal Shrestha of taekwondo, and Subash Tamang of golf.
