Gaurika Singh bags Best Female Player award



KATHMANDU: Swimmer Gaurika Singh has bagged the NSJF Pulsar Sports Award for the Best Female Player of the year.

Singh was declared the Best Female Player of the year at the awards ceremony held at Saatdobato in Lalitpur on Tuesday.

She left behind Anu Adhikari of karate, Ayesha Shakya of taekwondo, Santoshi Shrestha of athletics, and Soni Gurung of triathlon for the award.

Gaurika had won nine medals including four gold medals in the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) held in Nepal.
