Three ministers including DPM Pokharel greeted with black flags in Sarlahi



SARLAHI: Three ministers including Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel were shown black flags in Sarlahi on Tuesday.

Student leaders of the Prachanda-Madhav Nepal faction in Sarlahi protested against the Ministers who had gone to the district to take part in a program in Malangwa, Sarlahi.

According to All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU) leader Arati Lama, Ministers in the KP Oli led government Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel, Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Lila Nath
Shrestha and Minister for Urban Development Prabhu Shah were shown the flags.

“We plan to show black flags to the Prime Minister and Ministers of the government dissolving parliament,” ANNFSU leader Lama elaborated the purpose of the protest.

Earlier, the newly appointed Minister for Drinking Water Mani Thapa had to face a black flag in Jajarkot.
