21-yr-old killed in truck-scooter collision



KATHMANDU: A scooter driver has died after being hit by a truck at Gwarko Chowk in Lalitpur on Thursday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Swapnil Lama, 21, Sanga, currently staying at Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur, said police.

Scooter-borne Swapnil was hit by a truck, Na 6 Kha 1933 while it was heading to Gwarko from Satdobato.

Critically injured Lama breathed his last in the course of treatment at B and B hospital, said police.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the truck and the truck driver under control.
