8 seriously injured in jeep accident in Ghandruk



KATHMANDU: Eight persons have been seriously injured and one sustained minor injuries in a jeep accident in Ghandruk of Kaski Monday.

According to DSP Subash Hamal at the District Police Office, Kaski, eight persons were seriously injured in the accident and they had unverified information about few deaths. A Bolero jeep ( Ga 1 Ja 6900)  jeep heading from Nayapul of Pokhara to Ghandruk fell some 110 meters off the road at Kalabhir of Annapurna Rural Municipality-10.

DSP Hamal said the injured were being taken to Pokhara for treatment and further details of the accident were waited as the police was yet to reach the accident site.

A total of 10 people were said to be traveling in the jeep.

The jeep was reserved by a group of people for a trip to Ghandruk, it has been said.
