National Human Rights Commission to stay open during Dashain holidays



KATHMANDU: National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Nepal has decided to stay open during the Dashain festival.

Issuing a press statement on Monday, NHRC informed that all the offices of the National Human Rights Commission will be open during the Dashain holiday.

However, the office time will be rescheduled to make it both the beneficiaries and the NHRCs staff.

The NHRC offices at the Centre, federal, Province and local offices will be open from 11 AM to 2 PM.

The commission issued a press note on Monday stating that the central, state and branch offices would be open from 11 am to 2 pm during the holidays of Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festivals.

During this period, the commission has stated that it will take complaints of human rights violations and abuses of human rights.
