DHANGADHI: A person has apparently committed suicide at the police custody of Area Police Office in Tikapur of Kailali district.
The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Dhan Bahadur Rana Magar of Chaukune rural municipality-3, Surkhet.
According to DSP Prakash Sapkota of Area Police Office, Tikapur, Rana Magar was found hanging in the toilet of the custody. Inmates had informed the police when Rana Magar, who had gone to toilet, did not come out for a long time.
Five more inmates are doing time in the custody.
