Three killed in Syangja road accident



SYANGJA: Three people have died in a jeep accident at Waling municipality-10 in Syangja district.

The deceased have been identified as Dal Bahadur Palli, 77, Ganga Palli, and four-year-old Karishma Thapa of Galyang municipality-10, according to District Police Office, Syangja.

Of the total 19 people, who were traveling in the jeep, two died while undergoing treatment at the primary health center in Waling and the other died at Pokhara Manipal Hospital on Sunday night, informed Dhruba Prasad Sharma, the ward chair of Galyang-10.

The accident took place when the ill-fated jeep was heading to a village from the district headquarters Waling. The jeep had fallen 50 meters down the road, said police.
