NEPSE increases by 0.94 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 0.94 points on Wednesday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached a record-high of 3162.59 points.

A total of 27.29 million shares of 230 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 15.45 billion.

Out of the total 13 subgroups traded, shares of 5 subgroups have increased today while shares of the remaining 8 subgroups have declined.

Similarly, the share price of Hydropower increased by 104.79 percent and trade declined by 49.65 percent.

Even today, Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Company is in the top position in terms of turnover.

The company has a turnover of Rs 680 million. Shares of five companies, including Ruru Hydropower, increased by  10 percent to a positive circuit, while Janaki Finance lost by 3.74 percent.
