139 Nepali peacekeepers leave for Mali



KATHMANDU:  As many as 139 Nepali peacekeepers have left for Mali, an African nation, at the call of the United Nations.

The Nepal Army (NA) has said that the troops have flown to the destination on a UN charter flight led by Lieutenant Colonel Sangeet Pun following COVID-19 health protocols.

A team of 97 peacekeeping troops have returned to Kathmandu, recently.
