Insignia conferred on AIG Thapa



KATHMANDU: Insignia has been conferred on Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Nepal Police, Sahakul Thapa.

A cabinet meeting held on July 8 decided to promote Deputy Inspector General Thapa to the post of AIG.

At a programme organized at the Nepal Police Headquarters Sunday, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Shailesh Thapa Chhetri, conferred insignia on Sahakul.

On the occasion, IGP Thapa Chhetri directed AIG Thapa to carry out his responsibilities after the promotion with new energy. He pointed out the need of moving ahead with new action plan in coming days for further strengthening and development of the organization.

Similarly, AIG Thapa expressed his commitment to fulfill the responsibilities given by the Government of Nepal and police organization with full devotion.
