Nepal records 1,831 new COVID-19 cases, 20 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 391 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 1,831 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,237 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 594 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 261 persons in Kathmandu, 97 in Lalitpur, and 31 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 391 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 20 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,533 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
