KATHMANDU: Pratap Prakash Hangam, a member of the Provincial Assembly (PA) of Province 1, has urged the provincial government to include a plan of fencing along the border in programs and policies of the province.
He made the request while speaking at the PA deliberations on the programs and policies of the Province 1 government.
Citing often-surfacing disputes along the border, PA member Hangam was of the view that barbed wire fencing should be considered even though erecting a permanent structure along the border seemed untenable.
He said that the government should start fencing the border regardless of the plan not being in the programs and policies.
