Civil society members held for protesting in Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested as many as 20 leaders of the civil movement at Baluwatar on Friday.

Police held Narayan Wagle, Khagendra Sangaula, Yug Pathak, and Sanjeev Upreti while they were protesting in front of the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The members were protesting the government’s preparations to give recognition to medical colleges close to the government.
