KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two people on the charge of extorting money by hacking Facebook accounts.

The arrested are 20-year-old Ritik Kumar Kalwar of Dubahi municipality-5, Sunsari and 24-year-old Sarnendra Chaudhary of Itahari Sub Metropolitan City-12.

Rolpa police arrested them following complaints lodged by the victims after they extorted money from them by hacking their Facebook accounts.

According to Rolpa Police, they were taken under control from Sunsari few days ago, said DSP of Rolpa District Police Office, Naresh Raj Subedi.
