NAC craft arrives from China with 27 tons of medical supplies including oxygen cylinders



KATHMANDU: A wide-body aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation has arrived back at Tribhuvan International Airport with 27 tons of medical supplies including oxygen cylinders and ventilators.

According to NAC sources, the national flag bearer aircraft that had flown to Beijing China on Monday night has returned home with medical supplies.

The wide-body aircraft brought about 27 tons of goods including 400 oxygen cylinders, 160 oxygen concentrators and 10 ventilators from China.

The source informed that out of 20,000 oxygen cylinders, 400 hundred cylinders have been brought in the first phase.

Out of 20,000 cylinders to be brought from China, the government has the plan to bring 2,000 cylinders by air and 18,000 by road.
