Three more COVID-19 infected die in Udayapur



GAIGHAT: Three people including an office chief have died from COVID-19 in the course of treatment in Udayapur district.

The deceased have been identified as a 34-year-old man who succumbed to the virus at TU Teaching Hospital.

Similarly, a 50-year-old woman of Triyuga municipality-5 died while undergoing treatment at Koshi Zonal Hospital, Biratngar and the other 55-year-old man breathed his last at Nobel Medical Hospital, informed Chief of District Health Office, Udayapur Mohan Subedi.

With this, the number of deaths from the new COVID-19 variant in Udayapur district has reached seven. There are 239 active cases of COVID-19 in the district.
