We won’t join new power-sharing: JSP leader Thakur

KATHMANDU: The Thakur-Mahato group of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has made it clear that they would not join the new government.

Issuing a press note on Monday night, JSP’s Central Council Chairman Mahantha Thakur said, “Our addenda are more important than joining the new power sharing.”

“If we join the fray of the new power sharing, our agenda will be derailed. Hence, we will not take part in the new government,” said Thakur in the statement.

Thakur is optimistic that Prime Minister KP Oli will address their demands and claimed that the formation of the coalition government would put Madhesi agenda in a quandary.
