COVID-19: India records new 329,517 infections, 3,879 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 329,517 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 22,991,927.

Currently, 3,720,695 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 19,021,207 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 250,000-mark.

With 3,879 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 250,025, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,316,875 and infected 159,584,479 globally until the filing of this news.
