Two killed, seven injured in Chitwan road accident



CHITWAN: Two passengers were killed in a road accident in Chitwan district Sunday morning.

Seven others were injured when the vehicle — Na 1 Ja 3859 – heading toward Shardanagar Town from Bharatpur in Chitwan fell into a ditch from a convert.

The identity of the deceased have yet to be ascertained, according to the District Police Office.

Likewise, the condition of three injured passengers are said to be critical.

Police said that injured, including Binod Gurung of Dorji Rural Municipality of Lamjung and Pradip Ghimire of Kalika-2, Rasuwa are undergoing treatment at the Old Medical College in Chitwan.

Likewise, Ramesh Thapa of Shardanagar, Bharatpur-19 is undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.

Sharda Pariyar of Bharatpur-6, Kumari BK of Parbatipur, Bharatpur-21 and Babita Gurung of Bharatpur-19 are undergoing treatment at the Bharatpur Hospital.
