Possibility of joining the govt. cannot be ruled out: Biplav

KATHMANDU: General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Biplav group Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ said that the possibility of his party joining the government cannot be ruled out.

Speaking to media in Kathmandu on Thursday, Biplav remarked that his group is committed to the three-point agreement made with the government and wants the government to take it sincerely.

“Some media outlets have misinterpreted our views and disseminated more than we meant,” Biplav said, “We have not ruled out the possibilities of being a part of the government.”

However, he added that the party’s main focus now is to integrate the communist movement.

Biplav demanded referendum to find out whether people want to go for democratic scientific republic or parliamentary system.
