Janakpur Tax Officer nabbed with bribe



JANAKPURDHAM: A tax officer of Internal Revenue Office, Janakpurdham has been nabbed with Rs 150,000 bribe he was taking from a beneficiary.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) personnel arrested tax officer Ramesh Dhakal with the bribe he was receiving in a hotel.

According to CIAA sources, Dhakal and broker Navin Karna were collecting bribe from a distillery entrepreneur in Annapurna Hotel in Janakpurdham.

CIAA is investigating further for details.
