Two killed, three injured in separate road accidents



KATHMANDU: Two people have died and three others sustained injuries in road accidents in Sunsari and Chitwan districts.

A person died  and two others sustained juries after a tipper, Ko 1 Ka 3411, hit a motorcycle, Ko 38 Pa 5755, in Itahari-17 in Sunsari district on Wednesday night.

Critically injured Rajendra Chaudhary, 54, of Belaka municipality-9 died in the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, informed DSP Narendra Kumar Karki of District Police Office, Sunsari.

Similarly, 22-year-old Suresh Chaudhary of Kalika municipality died and the other sustained injuries in a road accident in Khairahani municipality of Chitwan district.

The accident took place after a bus, Na 5 Kha 1740, heading to Narayangadh from Lothar hit a motorcycle, Na 59 Pa 877, heading to the same direction at Khairahani municipality-1 this morning, said DPO, Chitwan.

Chaudhary, who was rushed to Oli Medical College, breathed his last in the course of treatment.
