KATHMANDU: The weather is generally cloudy in some parts of the hilly region and foggy in the Terai.
Despite having westerly wind, it will not have any significant impact on the weather pattern of the country today, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
The temperature of the Kathmandu Valley has been recorded at 6.5 degree Celsius this morning and it is expected to rise up to 20 degree during the day.
Similarly, light snowfall is forecast in high hilly and mountainous regions today.
The MFD has advised people to take precautions to keep themselves warm since many parts of Terai regions are covered in thick fogs.
