NLIC fixes Rs 50 per unit of shares

KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has fixed Rs 50 per unit of shares by slashing it from Rs 100 per unit.

A general meeting of the NLIC held on Wednesday took a decision to this effect with the aim of providing people in general access to its shares.

Similarly, the meeting has endorsed 51 percent dividend of the company (31 percent bonus shares and 20 percent cash dividend).

With the distribution of bonus shares, the paid-up capital of the company has reached 7,199,970,000.
