Salyan supplies agro products worth Rs 220 million in four months



SALYAN: Agriculture products worth over Rs 220 million have been supplied from Salyan district in four months of the current fiscal year.

Agriculture goods worth amounting to Rs 221.2 million have been exported in the period from mid-July to mid-November in 2020. According to the Agriculture Development Office Salyan, the district had supplied vegetable yields of Rs 98.3 million in the period.

Information officer of the District Agriculture Development Office Salyan Resham Kumar Basnet shared that 3,500 metric tons of vegetable produce were supplied during the period of four months.

Likewise, ginger worth amounting to Rs 41.2 million and potato of Rs 76.77 million were exported from the district during the period, Basnet added.
