Cold grips valley as mercury dips to 6.2 degree Celsius



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature has gone down across the country including the Kathmandu Valley.

The minimum temperature has been measured at 6.2 degree Celsius in Kathmandu this morning.

Similarly, the temperature in Jumla has been recorded at -3.7 and that of Jumla -1.

Meanwhile, the meteorologists have urged people in general to take precautions from the biting cold.

The Kathmandu Valley is covered in thick fogs till late morning. Since there is no significant weather system, the weather will improve after a few days, said Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The weather will remain partly cloudy in some hilly regions of Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh.
