35 injured in Dhading bus collision



DHADING: Thirty-five people were injured when two buses collided today at Neelkantha municipality-8 along the Kalupandey Highway in Dhading.

According to the District Police Office, Dhanding, a bus ( Na 5 Kha 3235) en route to Chitwan from Dhadingbesi and another bus ( Na 7Kha 5828) heading towards Phulkharkha from Kathmandu collided head-on in a congested turning post.

Two of the injured have been referred to the Kathmandu-based Trauma Center while the rest are being treated at the Dhading Hospital, said DPO’s Superintendent of Police and Information Office Jageshwor Bhandari.

Those receiving medical care at the Dhading Hospital are out of a life-threatening condition, it is said.
