Unified Socialist Chairman Nepal holding meeting with newly-appointed ministers of his party



KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed ministers representing the CPN-Unified (Socialist) are meeting at the party office in Shantinagar Sunday.

Four ministers of the party and one Minister of State in the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government are scheduled to meet at the party office to discuss their future strategy with party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.

According to party sources, leaders who have become ministers have been invited to the party office to hold an official and formal program on behalf of the party.

It is learned that Chairman Nepal will give instructions to the party ministers.

Party leaders, including Birodh Khatiwada, has been appointed as the Minister of Health and Population, Ram Kumari Jhankri as the Minister of Urban Development, Prem Bahadur Ale as the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Krishna Kumar Shrestha as the Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security and Bhawani Prasad Khapung as the Minister of State for Health and Population.
