Customs fees can be paid online now, QR code on excise duty



KATHMANDU: The government will make arrangements to pay customs duty online.

Presenting a bill to replace  the Financial Ordinance in the Federal Parliament on Friday, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma ‘Prabhakar’ made the announcement.

“I have made an arrangement to make all the taxes and tariffs to be paid at the customs point through electronic system,” Sharma said.

The bill to replace the ordinance budget announced by the previous government led by the CPN (UML) was presented in the third meeting of HoR amidst the protest and obstructions from the main opposition CPN (UML).
