PM Deuba holds discussion with MCC Veep Sumar



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has held discussions with Millennium Challenge Corporation’s Compact Operations Vice President Fatima Sumar at the PM’s official residence in Baluwatar Thursday.

During the meeting, the two discussed MCC Compact and Nepal-US cooperation, including the prospects for Nepal’s economic transformation, said Prime Minister Deuba.

PM Deuba took to Twitter to make public the meeting.

MCC Deputy Vice President Jonathan Brooks and United States Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry also accompanied Vice Preisdent Sumar to the meeting from the U.S. side.

From Nepali side, government Spokesperson and Law Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki attended the meeting.
