UML Standing Committee meet postponed till 9 am Saturday



KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the main opposition CPN-UML called at 4 pm Friday has been postponed till 9 am Saturday.

The UML postponed the SC meet due to the ongoing House of Representatives meeting.

The SC meeting was called at 4 pm at Tulsilal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

UML Central Office Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang said the SC meeting would now take place at 9 am on Saturday.

The SC meet was called to prepare for the UML Statute Convention slated for September 20-22. The Central Committee meeting will follow the SC meet on September 12.
