NC Central Election Committee Coordinator Yadav resigns



KATHMANDU: Mahadev Yadav, Coordinator of the 14th General Convention Election Committee of the Nepali Congress (NC), has resigned.

He resigned saying that the election and convention under the general convention were not conducted according to the party rules.

Congress leader Min Bishwakarma confirmed that he had submitted his resignation letter to party President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Coordinator Yadav has pointed out that there was a problem in the convention when the leaders made a deliberate decision.

Yadav’s resignation has added to the confusion and controversy of the NC General Convention.

The active membership dispute of 21 districts has not been resolved yet.
