National Assembly meeting begins in New Baneshwor (Live)

Various Bills to be tabled



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the National Assembly (NA) has started in the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

Preparations are underway to present reports on various Bills in the NA meeting today.

Chairman of Legislation Management Committee of the NA Parshuram Meghi Gurung is scheduled to present a report on Railway Bill, 2076. Similarly, a report on Accreditation Bill, 2076 will also be presented in the meeting today.

Likewise, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is also scheduled to table Public Service Broadcasting Bill, 2077, and Food Hygiene and Quality Bill, 2077 in the meeting, according to the Parliament Secretariat.

Similarly, the Standard Measurement and Weight (Fifth Amendment) Bill, 2076 is also on the agenda items for discussion in the meeting today.
