Chief Minister Gururng will ask for the vote of confidence at the beginning of the assembly meeting, then top leaders of the political parties will deliver their views on the confidence motion and finally the division of votes will take place, according to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.

Out of 60 lawmakers in the Gandaki Provincial Assembly, 31 votes are required to secure the vote of confidence.

Opposition parties have a lotal of 32 lawmakers (Nepali Congress (NC) 15, CPN (Maoist Center) 12, Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) two and Rastriya Janamorcha (RJM) three).
