139 succumb to COVID-19 in 24 hours, a single day high death toll

KATHMANDU: With 139 more people succumbing to coronavirus in 24 hours, Nepal has seen the highest ever death toll from the pandemic.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as many as 139 persons succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours in the country.

So far, the total number of recorded deaths due to coronavirus in the country has reached 3,859.
