KATHMANDU: A special session of the House of Representatives (HoR) has begun at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneswor.
Prime Minister KP Oli is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence from the House of Representatives.
PM Oli requires at least 136 votes to win the confidence motion.
The lawmakers close to Madhav Kumar Nepal-led faction of the ruling CPN-UML have already decided to abstain from the voting.
Likewise, the Mahanta Thakur and Rajendra Mahato-led faction of the Janata Samajbadi Party has also decided to stay neutral.
