Would prefer Nepal-Khanal rather than Oli: UML Vice Chair Gautam

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam has said he would prefer joining the side of Madhav Kumar and Jhala Nath Khanal if they formed a separate party.

Gautam said he would readily accept the offer of Nepal and Khanal and join their party if they formed a new political party.

He added that he, however, would remain passive in the current parallel activities carried out by the Nepal-Khanal faction of the party.

Stating that Prime Minister and party Chairman KP Oli was not prepared to run the party as it was before May 16, 2018, he would not support Chairman Oli.
