Oli group’s Paudel holds talks with leaders of disgruntled faction



KATHMANDU:  A discussion has taken place between leader Bishnu Paudel of the Oli group and three influential leaders of the Nepal-Khanal faction of the ruling CPN-UML.

Paudel representing Oli faction and Yogehsh Bhattarai, Ghana Shyam Bhushal and Gokarna Bista from the Nepal-Khanal faction held discussions at the UML Parliamentary Party Office in Singha Durbar in order to thrash out the differences.

The meeting took place prior to the vote of confidence to be taken by Prime Minister KP Oli.

Paudel urged lawmakers of Nepal-Khanal faction to vote in favor of Prime Minister Oli in the meeting, sources have said.

Lawmakers of the disgruntled faction have deiced to abstain from the parliament meeting today.
