Kavre DAO extends prohibitory order by a week



BANEPA: The District Administration Office (DAO), Kavrepalanchowk has decided to extend the duration of a prohibitory order by a week in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19.

Issuing a public notice, Chief District Officer Shibaram Pokhrel said the prohibitory period against the pandemic has been extended till the midnight of May 16.

Earlier, the administration had announced the implementation of the prohibitory order for a week beginning from the midnight of May 2.

The administration has exercised the power granted by the Infectious Disease Act, 1964 and the Local Administration Act, 1971 to extend the order.
