COVID-19: India records 773 new deaths, 144,829 infection cases



NEW DELHI: India recorded 144,829 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 13,202,783.

Currently,1,046,376 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile,11,987,940 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 168,400-mark.

With 773 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 168,467, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
