Police nabs a man for smuggling counterfeit currency



KANCHANPUR: Kanchanpur Police has nabbed a person on counterfeit currency smuggling allegation Tuesday evening.

Sanjaya Rana, 25, of Krishnapur-9, Pipariya has been nabbed with counterfeit note and the machine used to make such notes from Kanachanpur.

According to Police, Rana was arrested with counterfeit currency of Rs 1000 and Rs 100 and the machine used for printing such notes.

The police had raided Rana’s grocery following the information that Rana had been printing and circulating counterfeit currency from his shop.

The police are investigating further for more details.
