Mainali appointed Director General of Inland Revenue Department



KATHMANDU: Dirgharaj Mainali has been appointed as the Director General of the Inland Revenue Department.

A source in the Ministry of Finance said that the responsibility of the Department has been sent to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration for consensus.

Sources said that he will take charge of the Department after the approval of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.

Former Director General Binod Bahadur Kunwar has been transferred and appointed as the Director General of the Revenue Investigation Department.

Earlier, Mainali had tried hard to go to the Inland Revenue Department.
