Nepal Tarun Dal Gorkha Chair Thapa dismissed



GORKHA:  The Central Committee of the Nepal Tarun Dal has taken action against chairman of Nepal Tarun Dal, Gorkha Yam Bahadur Thapa.

Nepal Tarun Dal penalized Thapa on the charge of going against the ideals, spirits and the principles of the organization, reads a press note issued today.

Thapa has been accused of not becoming active in organizational building, participating in daily activities of the sister organization and not abiding by the direction of the central committee among others.

Ananda Gurung had been looking after the jobs of chairman Thapa who had defected from the then Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) to join Nepali Congress.
