Lawmaker Husein joins Prachanda-Nepal faction



KATHMANDU: Lawmaker of the now dissolved House of Representatives Samina Husein has defected from the Oli faction to join the Prachanda-Nepal group.

Husein from Rautahat had previously participated in the political programs of the Oli faction.

She met with senior leaders of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Madhav Nepal and Jhala Nath Khanal on Tuesday and vowed to stand firm against the regressive move taken by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Issuing a statement she has also stated that the Oli group involved her in its programs by creating illusions. in her.

“The entire nation is in favor of the Constitution, democracy and against the anti-democratic move taken by Prime Minister Oli,” reads the statement.
