5 more succumb to coronavirus, Nepal’s death toll reaches 1,917



KATHMANDU: As many as five COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,917 as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the country recorded a total of 259 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,64,780 in the country as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 4,422 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 513 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,58,441 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 5 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,917.
