Two women succumb to COVID-19 in Banke

NEPALGUNJ: Two coronavirus infected people who came for treatment in Banke have succumbed to the pandemic on Sunday.

According to the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, Banke, a 42-year-old woman from Libang in Rolpa and an 80-year-old woman from Babai in Dang died this morning.

The 42-year-old woman from Rolpa was brought to Kohalpur Medical College on Saturday for treatment.

The 80-year-old woman from Dang was brought to Kohalpur Medical College on December 24. She was taken to Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj the next day after being confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

A total of 82 people from other districts have died of the coronavirus in Banke so far.
