12 people injured in road mishap



LAMJUNG: Twelve people were injured in a jeep accident at Kalimati, near Marsyangdi rural municipality-8 in the Lamjung this morning.

The accident took place when the jeep heading towards peace hill from Simpani fell some 50 meters off the road.

The jeep was carrying students and teachers of Ganesh Secondary School at Simpani, said Homraj Tamang of Bhusme.

The problem has surfaced to rescue two persons from the jeep while 10 others have been rescued and are being brought to District Hospital.

A police team from Khudi Police Post has reached the incident site and carrying out a rescue operation.
