NC President Deuba vows to make NC the largest party



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the Prime Minister, has vowed to make NC the largest party in the upcoming general election.

Releasing a book written by Joint General Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat on Thursday, PM Deuba said that he would put all efforts to make NC the largest party after the 14th General Convention that is beginning on Friday.

“Now, we all need to focus on the General Convention, and then to make this party strong,” he said.

He also expressed the confidence that all the leaders and cadres would be involved in making the party stronger.

Deuba said that the leadership would be selected by consensus in the General Convention and if there was no consensus, the election would be held.
